2. General Terms
By purchasing a caravan from Evans Caravan and Camping Ltd, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We recommend reading them fully before making any payment or completing a transaction.
3. Deposits
All deposits paid are final, non-transferable and strictly non-refundable.
A deposit secures the caravan for you and removes it from sale to other buyers. Once a deposit is made, we will not accept other offers on the caravan.
If you decide not to proceed with the purchase for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
4. Payments
We do not accept credit card payments for caravan purchases.
Accepted payment methods:
- Bank transfer (preferred)
- Cash (in person only)
- Debit card for small payments or deposits only (if applicable)
Caravans must be paid for in full before collection or release. No caravan will leave our premises until full cleared funds are received.
5. Viewing & Inspection
All customers are encouraged to inspect the caravan in person before paying a deposit or full balance. Viewings should be arranged in advance.
By completing the purchase, you confirm that you are satisfied with the condition, age, specification and suitability of the caravan.
6. Condition & Descriptions
We take care to ensure that all caravan descriptions, photographs and specifications are accurate at the time of advertising.
However, caravans are sold on an “as seen” basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Minor age-related marks, wear or cosmetic imperfections are to be expected.
7. Warranty
Unless otherwise stated, used caravans are sold without warranty. Where a warranty is offered, this will be provided in writing and cover only the areas specified.
Any warranties or guarantees from manufacturers apply only where the manufacturer confirms eligibility.
8. Collection
Once full payment is received, a collection date will be arranged. You must ensure your towing vehicle is legally compliant and suitable.
We accept no responsibility for issues arising during transportation once the caravan has left our premises.
9. Cancellations
If you cancel after a deposit is paid, you will lose your deposit. If you cancel after making the full payment, refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
10. Liability
Evans Caravan and Camping Ltd accepts no liability for any accidents, damage, collisions, towing incidents, or losses that occur after the caravan leaves our premises. This includes (but is not limited to) impact damage, “smashing”, tyre issues, or any damage caused while towing or transporting the caravan.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will apply to your transaction.

14. Right to Cancel (Distance Sales Only)
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform Evans Caravan and Camping Ltd of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model cancellation form, but this is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the 14-day period expires.
Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding any supplementary costs for non-standard delivery).
We may make a deduction for loss in value of any goods if the loss results from unnecessary handling by you.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay, and no later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you, or
- 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- 14 days after informing us of cancellation if no goods were supplied.
We will issue the reimbursement using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Please note: Section 14 applies only to distance sales — where the caravan is purchased based solely on online listings, photos or descriptions, without the customer viewing it in person beforehand. If the caravan is delivered following an unseen online purchase and you decide you do not want it, the 14-day cancellation rights apply. These rights do not apply to caravans viewed and inspected on-site before purchase.
